Name: Sasa Bralic
Date of Birth: March 26th, 1978 in Brcko/Bosnia

Thinking back I have to say that drawing was always a part of my life. I was born in Brcko, Bosnia and due to war in 1992, my parents and I moved to Berlin, Germany in 1993. In 1998 we immigrated to USA and currently I'm living in Salt Lake City. For those of you who wonder ... Nope, I am not Mormon! I get asked that question quite often. :)

Growing up I remember times where I would be drawing for hours at the time, instead of playing with toys. I don't know why, but it was like a different world for me, where I could do anything I wanted. I never considered doing anything with it, until I came to the USA. Ever since I found out about "Joe Kubert School" I wanted to attend it, but never thought that I would be able to afford it financially. If it wasn't for my girlfriend at the time, I would have never gone there. She was the one who said that I could do it and for that I thank her.

There is a lot of people/artists that have influenced and inspired me and I have great respect for them and for the things they do. Just to name a few: Eduardo Risso, Alex Toth, Joe Kubert, Will Eisner, Toby Cypress, Mike Mignola, Claire Wendling, Alex Horley, Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, Skottie Young, Jeff "Chamba" Cruz, Bernie Wrightson, Adam Hughes, Mark Brooks, Magnus (Roberto Raviola), Max Bunker (Luciano Secchi), Tiziano Sclavi, Claudio Villa and many, many more. Also I would like to mention some of my friends, aspiring artists, who have helped me a lot and who's work I really admire: Andre Renaud, Shaun O'Neal, Eric Schock, Karl Savage, Dan Duncan, Dan Patierno, Chris Staggs, Mike Kraiger, Darren Auck, Bruno Lobato, Fabio Redivo, Kiran Yalamanchi and lets not forget Skipper Beery, for the most inovative, crazy and wildest ideas on this planet!

I graduated from "Joe Kubert School" in May of 2006. Currently I am working on getting some freelance work, so if anybody is interested in commissioning me, please email/contact me.I hope you enjoy my gallery and if you have any questions, advices or suggestions, please drop me a line.

Thank you for your support!
